Rounded Edge Frame

We recently framed a 1960′s oil on canvas stylized portrait of a lady in a 3″ cap rounded edge frame. We chose a rounded frame to soften the edges of the piece overall. The painting itself has a soft style that needed a soft frame, so we decided on rounded edges to compliment the piece. We also chose a washy grey finish allowing some of the maple wood grain to come through. Lastly we added a 1/4″ gilded liner to off-set the painting and give it a pop of brightness.
