“Remains” by Jessica Rae Ecker is the latest addition to our collection of prints and paintings for sale at Paris. Jessica received her MFA from Pratt Institute in 2012, and currently resides in New York. Paris currently displays three of her paintings and four photographs. This piece is an original watercolor/gouache work on paper. Because the paper has such a beautiful deckle edge, we decided to show off the edge by floating the piece. To further emphasize the importance of the artwork, we added a window mat – creating island matting. Island matting is recommended as a way to add significance to a floated work on paper.
