Detritus (noun):
1:  loose material that results directly from disintegration
2:  a product of disintegration, destruction, or wearing away :  debris
Artists Daniel John Gadd and Elina Ansary are linked by their shared use of debris as an art material. In each of their paintings, bits of thread and broken glass become sacred objects. Trash transforms into treasure; chaos into transcendence. As these two artists reach to capture transient moments, we are given a new and reverent view of the detritus of our everyday lives.

All the work in this show has been framed by the artists. These frames, handmade in our woodshop, are museum-grade and provide optimal preservation for this delicate body of work.
